We had a really wonderful and special experience here. The couple who own and run the place, one the chef and the other in the dining area, were absolutely lovely and gracious. The service was excellent. Pacing was gentle but fast and respectful. Food was excellent and inventive and presentation was outstanding.
Bread was provided free, prices were very good, and the location is charming and has an elevated small town atmosphere. Reminds us of hillside Italian towns on the northern Mediterranean coast. Thank you to La Gula.

The waiters are very friendly, competent and you can tell that they like to pamper the guests. The place is highly recommended and we will visit it again when we are in Zihua.
